NorIA

Privacy Policy

Effective as of September 19, 2026

Last updated: September 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how RevePOS S.A. de C.V. (trade name NorIA, tax ID REV180914MP5) processes personal data on https://www.noriasystem.com, https://app.noriasystem.com, and related services (together, “NorIA” or the “Service”).

By using NorIA or our website, you acknowledge these practices. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Data controller

Controller: RevePOS S.A. de C.V., trade name NorIA.

Legal representative: Luis Alberto Ramírez Albino.

Registered address: Norte 174 599 Bis, Colonia Pensador Mexicano, C.P. 15510, Ciudad de México, México.

Privacy contact: privacidad@noriasystem.com.

Processing follows Mexico’s LFPDPPP and its regulations, and transparent practices aligned with widely recognized privacy principles.

2. What NorIA is and who this policy covers

NorIA is a POS, CRM, and ERP platform for restaurants and businesses: point of sale, kitchen display (KDS), inventory, invoicing, reporting, support, and integrations (including Uber Eats Marketplace).

This policy applies to:

  • Business customers that subscribe to or use NorIA.
  • System users (staff, managers, cashiers) authorized by the business.
  • Visitors of the marketing website (noriasystem.com).
  • Guest/order data that the business receives via integrations (e.g. Uber Eats) and that is processed in the POS to fulfill orders.

3. Data we process

Depending on how the Service is used, we may process:

  • Business account data: trade name, legal name, tax ID, contact details, address, logo, and brand settings.
  • System users: name, username, contact email or phone, role, permissions, and access logs. If the business enables biometrics (e.g. fingerprint) for access control, that data is used only for on-site authentication; it is not sold or used for marketing.
  • Orders and sales: tables, products, quantities, prices, payment methods, tickets, cash closings, inventory, and other operational POS/ERP data.
  • Uber Eats integration: store identifiers (Store ID), Uber order IDs, guest data Uber sends to the POS (such as name, phone, notes, and items), store status (online, paused, offline), and related webhook events.
  • Technical data: IP addresses, software version, error logs, support diagnostics, and device/install metadata needed for security and maintenance.
  • Website: browsing data and, if enabled, cookies or analytics tools (see cookies section).

4. Purposes

We process data to:

  • Provide and operate the POS/ERP: sales, tickets, printing, KDS, inventory, payments, and reports.
  • Manage accounts, users, roles, and technical support.
  • Support the Uber Eats Marketplace integration: receive orders; accept, reject, or cancel per business settings; update kitchen/delivery status via the API; and open or pause the store when the business requests it.
  • Improve the Service, apply security updates, and diagnose issues.
  • Meet legal, contractual, and billing obligations toward the business customer.
  • Send operational communications about the Service (we do not sell contact lists for third-party advertising).

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data to third parties for marketing. We may share data only as needed to provide the Service:

  • Uber Technologies / Uber Eats: only what the Marketplace API requires (orders, store status, events) so the business can operate its Uber Eats store.
  • Payment processors or other vendors that the business itself configures or requests (e.g. terminals or gateways such as NetPay or others), under the business’s relationship with those providers.
  • Hosting, infrastructure, email, or monitoring providers that help us run NorIA, under confidentiality and limited-use obligations.
  • Competent authorities when required by law.

7. International transfers

Some providers (including Uber and cloud services) may process or store information on servers outside Mexico. When that happens, we seek reasonable contractual and security measures to protect data under applicable law.

8. Retention and security

We retain data while the business account is active and for additional periods needed for legal obligations, dispute resolution, audits, and security. Afterwards, data is deleted or anonymized where appropriate.

We apply reasonable security measures: encryption in transit (HTTPS), user/role access controls, and hardening practices for cloud or on-prem deployments depending on the customer’s setup. No system is 100% secure; businesses should protect credentials and devices.

9. Access and related rights

You may request access, rectification, cancellation, or objection (ARCO rights under Mexican law), and where applicable limit use or withdraw consent, by emailing privacidad@noriasystem.com with your name, contact method, relationship to NorIA (business, user, or visitor), and a clear description of your request. We may ask for information to verify identity.

If the request concerns data the business customer captures or controls (e.g. employees or guests), we may refer you to the business administrator, who is often the controller for those individuals in POS use cases.

We will respond within the timeframes set by LFPDPPP, unless a justified legal or technical impediment applies.

10. Cookies and marketing site

www.noriasystem.com may use technical cookies required for operation and, if enabled, measurement or analytics tools to understand site usage. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not block browsing the site, though measurement features may be limited.

11. Minors

NorIA is not directed at minors. We do not knowingly solicit minors’ data. If you learn that a minor provided data without authorization, contact privacidad@noriasystem.com so we can delete it where appropriate.

12. Notice about Uber Eats

Uber Eats has its own privacy policies and terms. NorIA acts as POS software that receives and processes order and store data through Uber’s API for the restaurant or business customer.

The restaurant or business is responsible for its Uber Eats configuration, its relationship with guests, and its own legal duties toward them. NorIA does not replace Uber’s privacy policy or the business’s.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will publish the current version at this same URL with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after a material change means you are aware of the new version, without prejudice to rights the law grants you.
